Howell, N.J. (May 16, 2019) – Sky Blue FC has partnered with Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival, taking place in New York City from June 4 to June 7. The annual event has a mission to engage, connect, and inspire soccer and film enthusiasts through the celebration and presentation of soccer culture. This 11th edition will be hosted at the Scandinavia House in Manhattan.
Sky Blue will support Kicking + Screening throughout the festival, with a focus on Night 3 on Thursday, June 6. The three films featured on K+S Night 3 emphasize women in soccer and champion the theme “Against the Odds.” Additional programming includes a panel discussion and Q&A featuring Sky Blue personnel and other speakers.
“It’s exciting for us to be involved in this festival, and more so that we can partner on a night to celebrate women and girls in soccer,” stated Sky Blue FC General Manager Alyse LaHue. “Against the Odds is certainly a theme that resonates with our club so having the opportunity to participate specifically around this topic and these amazing stories is particularly meaningful for us.”
