Howell, N.J. (May 24, 2019) – Sky Blue FC has partnered with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, also known as Vet Tix, ahead of the club’s Memorial Day weekend game on Saturday, May 25 at 6 p.m. against the Portland Thorns. Active and veteran military personnel will be recognized and honored during the game.
“Vet Tix is a fantastic organization that has given us the opportunity to give back to service members and their families,” said Alyse LaHue, Sky Blue FC General Manager. “Seeing their photos after every Sky Blue home game is an incredible joy for us, so we look forward to hosting members during our Memorial Weekend celebration, as well as throughout the remaining home games this season.”
Vet Tix is a national non-profit, founded in 2008, whose mission is to secure and distribute tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation to military and veteran families.
