Throughout league history, the two teams have met 15 times and finished the match in a draw eight times. Sky Blue has never defeated Chicago with an all-time record of 0-7-8.

Jennifer Hoy, Sarah Killion, and Sabrina Flores are pushing forward in the attack as all three players have created four chances each in their last game against Orlando on June 22nd. Flores has started in the last two matches, putting a full shift in for both games. Killion scored her first goal of the season against Orlando from the Penalty spot. Back in the mix for Sky Blue is Kailen Sheridan as she returns from her international duty representing Canada in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Chicago is coming off a 3-2 win against the Orlando Pride on June 30th at Orlando. All three goals came from Australian international Sam Kerr, who bagged her first hat-trick of the 2019 season.

Two key players to stop on the Chicago offense are Kerr and Yuki Nagasato. The international connection between the two has given Kerr 10 goals on assists from Nagasato in the last two seasons. Nagasato is leading the Red Stars in assists this season with a total of four.

Chicago will still be missing several key players in their lineup due to the World Cup. Alyssa Naeher, Julie Ertz, Morgan Brian, and Tierna Davidson will all be representing USA in the World Cup Final this weekend.
