Sky Blue FC has unveiled its new primary and secondary jerseys for the 2020 season.
Both Nike kits, nicknamed “Lightning Strikes”, are modern takes on a classic design. The black primary kit features blue accented lightning bolts which pop off of the dark base while the white secondary kit subtly highlights grey accented lightning bolts.
The new kits feature partner Hackensack Meridian Health as this year’s front-of-jersey sponsor. Fans can catch NJM Insurance Group, a longstanding sponsor of the club, presented on the back of the jerseys. In addition, Sky Blue FC is proud to announce its new kit partnership with Verizon, whose logo sits on the sleeves of all jerseys.
The 2020 black “Lightning Strikes” jerseys will be available in Sky Blue FC’s online merchandise shop with customization options for name and number.
The white “Lightning Strikes” jerseys can only be obtained through an online game-worn jersey auction that will take place during the Challenge Cup. All Sky Blue players will feature in the auction with proceeds to benefit a local Utah charitable group, in an effort to give back to the local communities hosting the Challenge Cup. More details to come when the auction opens on Saturday, June 27th, the first day of the Challenge Cup.
Sky Blue FC will debut its new kit on June 30 when the team takes on OL Reign at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah. Fans can watch the match live on CBS All Access in the U.S. and Canada at 10 p.m. ET.
